Big district matchups, as well as head-to-head competitions within the Top 5, have shifted some things around with the teams featured in the previous LoCo Top 5.
The Tigers earned another 5-set victory over the Pioneers to remain atop the Cedar Run District standings.
Although they dropped the second set, the Falcons came storming back in the third and fourth to take down the Bulldogs, 3-1.
The Captains overcame a 5-point deficit late in the fourth to prevent a fifth set in a 3-1 victory over the Tigers.
After a competitive first two sets which left the match tied at 1-1, Independence jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in both the third and fourth sets to claim the 3-1 victory.
