(October 30, 2014) – For the second time in two years, Loudoun Valley High School senior Ciara Donohue has run the fastest time at the Conference 28 girls cross country meet after posting a time of 17:41 at the Central High School Cross Country Course in Woodstock on Oct. 29. The Lady Vikings were not finished yet as Donohue’s teammates senior Rachel Snyder (18:31), sophomore Kimberly Donohue (18:34) and freshman Natalie Morris (19:20) placed second, fourth and fifth respectively. (October 30, 2014) – Heritage High School freshman Weini Kelati ran away with the Conference 21 cross country title (17:55.6) at the Kernstown Battlefield Cross Country Course in Winchester on Oct. 29 with a time about a minute-and-a-half faster than the second place finisher. Loudoun schools saw two other top-five finishes as Loudoun County High School sophomores Grace Howard (19:25.4) and Izzy Bowman (19:33.8) placed second and third. Millbook High School claimed the Conference 21 crown as sophomore Alec Schrank ran a field best 15:56.8 while junior teammate Tyler Cox-Philyaw crossed the finish line second with a time of 16:12.6.
