Martinsville (November 6, 2015) — Loudoun Valley High School senior Drew Hunter (15:25) and Heritage High School sophomore Weini Kelati (16:57) won the VHSL 4A West Region Championships on November 5 in Martinsville. Hunter’s effort helped the Viking boys to a first place team finish, while Kelati’s effort helped the Pride girls to a first place team finish. On the boys side, Loudoun Valley — along with Sherando, Freedom, Fauquier, Dominion and Millbrook High Schools — will represent the VHSL 4A West region at the VHSL 4A state meet on November 13 at Great Meadow in The Plains. Tom Tucker went 7-0 in week ten, beat all but one of the local experts and will take home a gift certificate for a free meal at ResQ Grille!
