[twitter-follow screen_name=’SpencerDuPuis’] By Spencer DuPuis LoCoSports Journalist Leesburg (May 28, 2015) — On a hot, sunny evening in Leesburg, the girls soccer teams from Heritage High School and Loudoun County High School met on Tuesday, May 26 to claim the Conference 21 tournament title and get a shot for home field advantage in the VHSL 4A North region tournament. In their two previous meetings Loudoun County beat Heritage 2-0 on April 10 and 2-1 on April 21. This game was much like the April 10 meeting, as the Lady Raiders blanked the Lady Pride 2-0.

In their only other match of the season on April 8, Heritage escaped with a narrow 3-2 win after defensive woes hurt the Pride in the first half.
