Richmond, Va. — Loudoun Valley High School senior Sean Conway, Riverside High School junior Allison Kopac, and Riverside High School senior Claire Nguyen all claimed state titles at the VHSL 4A state swimming championships on February 15 in Richmond. Conway won both the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard freestyle, Kopac won the 100-yard freestyle, and Nguyen won both the 200- and 500-yard freestyle events. Virginia Beach, Va. — After sweeping the individual events and winning the all-around at the VHSL Region 1-4A Championships, Riverside High School freshman Marisa Cisneros edged out Oscar Smith High School senior Angelica Labat to win the all-around at the VHSL Open State Championship in Virginia Beach on February 16.
