(November 14, 2014) – Loudoun Valley High School senior Ciara Donohue finished runner up at the VHSL 3A state cross country meet at the Great Meadow Cross Country Course in The Plains on Nov. 14. Donohue’s time of 18:06 was just two seconds slower than Blacksburg High School senior Bonnie Angermeier’s state championship time of 18:04. Donohue and the Vikings placed second as a team, while Angermeier helped Blacksburg to the team title. John Champe High School finished eighth in the team competition.
