The Plains (August 30, 2015) — Tuscarora High School sophomore Emma Wolcott (18:53) and senior Fitsum Seyoum (15:46) both posted National Eltie times in route to sweeping the girls and boys Varsity A races at the Great Meadow Invitational in The Plains on August 30. Wolcott’s finish helped the Huskies girls to a third place team finish behind Jefferson Forest High School and Heritage High School. Winchester (August 15, 2015) – Loudoun Valley High School sophomore Ryan Hammer won the Bryan Gunter Memorial Golf Tournament at Winchester Country Club on Friday, August 14 shooting a 3-under, 139 over the two-day, 36-hole tournament. Hammer and senior teammate Adam Lockhart — who placed third shooting a 144 — led the Vikings to their second-straight team title at the Gunter Memorial with a score of 603.
