Many were honored from far and wide at Leonard Stadium in Purcellville , in a remembrance of the fallen, heroes and families. In a fierce battle to the last second, Heritage High School outlasted Loudoun Valley High School, 41-35, to avenge last season’s 35-7 defeat at the hands of the Vikings. “It feels great, all this is our hard work coming to fruition,” Heritage head coach Reed Prosser said.…

Winchester (September 13, 2015) — Woodgrove High School sophomore Emma-Jane Kimmett (19:44) posted the fastest girls’ time in route to winning the Judges Classic in Winchester on September 12. Wolcott’s finish helped the Wolverines girls to a sixth place team finish behind fellow LoCo squad, Loudoun County High School which finished second. Loudoun County junior Grace Howard (20:28) turned in the only other top-5 time by a LoCo runner placing third.
