The Plains (November 13, 2015) — Tuscarora High School sophomore Emma Wolcott (17:55) claimed the VHSL 5A state championship on November 13 in The Plains all while helping the Husky girls run away with the team title. Wolcott’s senior teammate and recent Division I Virginia Tech-commit Fitsum Seyoum (15:56) placed second individually in the boys state championship as Stone Bridge High School brought home the VHSL 5A state team title.
