Virginia Beach (March 22, 2017) — APEX Gymnastics qualified nineteen athletes to the region championship after a solid performance at the Virginia State competition in Virginia Beach on March 17-18. Highlighting the state performances for APEX was Level 9 gymnast Ashley Spanlger, who won the state championship in the vault. The APEX Level 8 and Level 9 teams both placed eighth in the team competition.
