Michael Pittinger is a native of Loudoun County, having graduated from Park View High School. While at Park View, Michael was a member of the baseball and basketball teams. After graduation, he stayed around and started to help coach basketball and baseball for three years at Park View. In 2017, he joined the Riverside boys basketball coaching staff. Michael works full-time for Loudoun County Parks, Recreations, and Community Services.

Leesburg, Va. — With a berth to the VHSL 4A State championship on the line, the Dominion High School boys lacrosse team traveled to Riverside High School for the back half of a girls-boys doubleheader on June 5 in Leesburg. The Titans scored four straight goals in the game’s final eight minutes to defeat the Rams in comeback fashion, 12-11. Ashburn, Va. — Broad Run High School senior Matthew Fiume has decided to continue his football career in the 2018-2019 school year after committing to Lafayette College. “Lafayette was the perfect fit both academically and athletically for me,” Fiume said. “It allows me compete at the highest level, while also earning a degree from an incredible school. Sterling, Va. – On a brisk night in Sterling, the field hockey teams of Stone Bridge High School and Potomac Falls High School met to determine the Potomac District tournament champion.
