George Mason sophomore pitcher Abbey Lane (Woodgrove/2024) shut out the visiting Hofstra Pride 6-0, recording six strikeouts while allowing only four hits and one walk in the complete game. Lane also provided an RBI sac fly, while Hofstra junior outfielder Gabby Sultan (Broad Run/2023) was one of six Pride players stranded on base during the shutout. George Mason senior pitcher/infielder Harlowe Nigh (John Champe/2022), sophomore infielder Kaitlyn Bronowicz (Freedom/2024), and freshman catcher Marissa Skinner (Riverside/2025) are also on the Patriots’ roster.
