Loudoun County, Va. – In an effort to better recognize student-athletes who positively affect high school sports in Loudoun County, Gymnaze and LoCoSports have teamed up to announce Woodgrove High School senior Alex Hain as the Gymnaze and LoCoSports Teammate of the Month for April 2022.
After a slow start to the season, the Wolverines earned two important Potomac District wins in April, thanks in part to the positivity and senior leadership of Hain.
“Alex is one of the most positive and encouraging members of our team,” Woodgrove head coach Jason “Choppy” Burke said. “He’s worked with younger players in his free time and is always there to provide feedback to help them along.”
As Woodgrove continues to grow and improve this season, Hain has been a steady constant with his unwavering work ethic and desire to win.
“Alex is a good teammate because he trusted what his coaches asked him to do,” Burke said. ‘You never question his work ethic or the desire he has to help the team win.”
