Loudoun County, Va. – In an effort to better recognize student-athletes who positively affect high school sports in Loudoun County, Power Train and LoCoSports have teamed up to announce Woodgrove High School senior Delaney Boyer as the Power Train and LoCoSports Athlete of the Month for April 2019.
In April, Boyer led a Wolverines defense that posted three shutouts and allowed one or fewer goals in five of their six games. During that stretch, Woodgrove went 5-0-1 with their only tie coming against perennial power Loudoun County.
Boyer also netted a goal in an April 10 win over rival Loudoun Valley.
