Atlanta, Ga. — Led by gymnasts Allie Auten, Caroline Cascadden and Lauren Greene, the APEX Gymnastics Level 9 team won gold in the team competition at the Atlanta Paws for a Cause Invitational on February 10.
Auten, Cascadden and Green all won their respective all-arounds and each claimed gold in an individual event as well.
In Level 8, all-around champion Makaila Knoerzer led APEX to a third place team finish.
A portion of every entry from the Atlanta Paws for a Cause Invitational is used to provide children with service dogs. It costs more than $25,000 to train, certify and place each of these highly-trained companions.
