The Plains, Va. – Tuscarora High School senior Emma Wolcott placed second at the VHSL 5A state championship in The Plains on November 10, leading the Lady Huskies to the team title.
Tuscarora junior Ava Hassebrock placed fourth in the state championship to help Wolcott and the rest of the Lady Huskies to the team championship.
Freedom High School freshman Abigail Church placed third and Broad Run High School sophomore Ellie Desmond placed fourth in the state meet as Loudoun student-athletes placed second through fifth.
