Sterling (Dec. 29, 2014) – The boys and girls varsity basketball teams at Park View High School both placed second in their respective Park View Holiday Classic Tournaments over the weekend.
After knocking off the Seton School, 47-44, in the semifinal round, the Lady Patriots fell to the John Handley High School Judges, 54-30, in the tournament championship.
On the boys side, the Patriots fell to Millbrook High School Pioneers, 96-45, in the tournament championship after knocking off Brentsville District High School, 62-52, in the semifinal round.
Following the tournament, LoCoSports selected its All-Tournament team for the boys and girls.
Handley junior forward Angelica Robinson was named the girls most valuable player, while Millbrook senior guard Zachary Harrell was named the boys most valuable player.
