(March 10, 2016) – Cheers and LoCoSports have named their 2015-2016 All-LoCo boys basketball team. The 2015-2016 boys basketball Player of the Year is Kuony Deng from John Champe High School. Loudoun Valley didn’t. On a night when very little went right for the Vikings, they battled to the very end. The Loudoun Valley High School boys basketball team suffered through an untimely bad shooting performance — going 3-for-20 from 3-point range — and were uncharacteristically sloppy with the basketball — with 15 turnovers. One week after going 3-for-13 from 3-point range in the first half against Loudoun Valley, John Champe High School came out on fire from deep in their VHSL 4A state quarterfinal game against the Eastern View Cyclones.
