Newport News (June 6, 2016) – Seven different Loudouners combined for eight individual all-state performances at the VHSL 5A state track & field championships in Newport News on June 3-4. The all-state performances from Loudoun boys included Briar Woods senior Josh Thomas — who placed third in the 200-meter sprint (21.99); Tuscarora senior Fitsum Seyoum — who placed fourth in the 1,600-meter run (4:14.65); Stone Bridge senior Jackson Morton — who placed fourth in the 3,200-meter run (9:27.39); and Broad Run junior Travis Hugg — who placed fourth in the 400-meter sprint (49.06) and fourth in the long jump (22-03). Both the home and visitor stands were packed with fans- hooting, hollering and repping their respective colors.
