Loudoun County, Va. – In an effort to better recognize student-athletes who positively affect high school sports in Loudoun County, Power Train and LoCoSports have teamed up to announce Park View High School senior Macie Land as the Power Train and LoCoSports Teammate of the Month for October 2018. In October, Land helped the Patriots to a 3-1 win over Freedom-Woodbridge, earning Park View its sixth win of the season. Leesburg, Va. — When the top two teams in the Dulles District met on October 9, it was a highly-anticipated clash of the titans. The Riverside High School field hockey team dominated most aspects of that game, defeating Heritage High School, 4-1. Leesburg, Va. — In a very back and forth game on October 16, the Woodgrove High School field hockey shocked the Dulles District; the Wolverines defeated powerhouse Heritage High School in Purcellville. Woodgrove scored two goals in the first half of that game, and Heritage simply couldn’t recover.
