Leesburg, Va. — Coming off its third loss of the season to Freedom, the Tuscarora High School girls basketball team knew they would need to bounce back as they entered the VHSL Region 5C playoffs on February 19. Richmond, Va. — Loudoun Valley High School senior Sean Conway, Riverside High School junior Allison Kopac, and Riverside High School senior Claire Nguyen all claimed state titles at the VHSL 4A state swimming championships on February 15 in Richmond. Conway won both the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard freestyle, Kopac won the 100-yard freestyle, and Nguyen won both the 200- and 500-yard freestyle events.
